PAPI - Paper and Pen Interviewing

The PAPI method represents a rigorous modality of the enquiry data collection, based on printed questionnaires, applied face to face:

- at the residence of the aleatory selected persons or on age, education categories, etc.
- at the exit of stores, pharmacies, expositions, etc., by selection of respondents depending on foreseen criteria of eligibility (frequent consumers of … interested persons in…);
The pre-test of questionnaire before commencement of data collection, the rigorous training of operators and inspection (minimum 15% of the applied questionnaires) of application of the selection methodology of respondents or of the application guidelines of questionnaire, represent basic principles of the EXACT department activity, regarding the onsite data collection.
The PAPI research system is recommended, in case of Romania, to the research projects, desired to the representative on international level (rural and urban), which benefit by high and very high research budgets and which benefit by high delivery terms (weeks or even months).
