Observation

Observation is the non-orientating research method whereby the systematization and codification of the material observed are carried out during the research.

The qualitative observers look for major trends, patterns and behavioral styles.

Advantage: it observes the natural behaviour of subjects, who are not influenced by the direct intervention of the researcher.
